The Centre for Middle East & North Africa aims to offer within Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne a transdisciplinary space in this area, as a complement to existing courses and research centres. It also strives to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge to the general public in France and in the countries of Middle East and North Africa, based on research carried out at the university and in partner institutions, in coordination with existing research centres. The Centre aims to develop innovative projects impacting not only academic and scientific networks but also civil society organisations and even the socio-economic fabric. Another priority of the Centre is to develop mobility opportunities for students, professors and administrative staff between Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and the region.
