OLA 3.0 kickoff meeting in Paris
The kickoff meeting of the OLA 3.0 project took place at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne on 13th November 2019.
The OLA 3.0 (Online Learning Agreement) builds on a previous project called OLA+. Funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, the main goal of OLA is to improve the efficiency of mobility management among European higher education institutions. Considered as the future of Erasmus+ student mobility in Europe, it is a simple and convenient way to complete the learning agreement online, have it signed, receive comments from sending and receiving institutions, and have an overview of the final version of the document.
OLA 3.0 will allow the development of additional functionalities in compliance with the values and regulations of the Erasmus+ programme. It will also offer comprehensive informative material to support higher education institutions in making strategic decisions regarding the digitalisation processes.
11 partners are involved in the OLA 3.0 project: the European University Foundation (coordinating institution), nine European universities (University of Luxembourg, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, University of Vienna, University of Marburg, University of Alcalá, University of Bergen, Erasmus University Rotterdam, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, University of Warsaw) and the Erasmus Student Network.
Representatives from partner institutions met at the International Relations Department on 13th November 2019 to discuss several topics including the general framework of the project, its main objectives, intellectual outputs and the timeline of OLA 3.0. Participants also gathered in working groups to cover specific aspects such as the implementation of new key functionalities.
Several teaching and research departments of Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne already use the Online Learning Agreement tool with their students involved in exchange programmes.
The next OLA 3.0 meeting will be held in Thessaloniki (Greece) in June 2020.
