Can I spend a semester at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne as a “freemover”?
If your home university hasn't signed a partnership agreement allowing you to spend a semester at our university, you can’t enrol as an exchange student. You won't be able to enrol as a full degree student for one semester either, as individual admissions are valid for a whole academic year, from September to June.

How can I get an official recognition certificate for my foreign diploma?
There is no legal principle of equivalence between foreign qualifications and French qualifications. The only document that can be issued is a “certificate of equivalence” delivered by the public agency ENIC-NARIC. This document is compulsory if you are applying via Mon master or eCandidat. There is a fee for this procedure, which takes three months. If you are applying via Études en France, this does not apply to you. If you do not know how to translate your diploma into the French system, please contact us.

Can I take a French language preparatory course before the start of the academic year?
No, the only French classes available are offered during the academic year by Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne’s department of languages, to students who are already enrolled in an academic department.
-
I can’t find the course I'm interested in on the Études en France (Campus France) application platform, can I still apply?
If you are applying for the 2nd or 3rd year of a bachelor’s degree or for the 2nd year of a master's degree and if you cannot find the degree on the Études en France platform, you can apply via the eCandidat university application platform.
-
Applications via Études en France are closed, is there another way for me to apply?
Unfortunately, no. If the Études en France procedure applies to you and you miss the deadline, your application cannot be accepted under any other procedure.

I want to study online, is that possible? If so, can I apply for a student visa?
Some law courses are available online (see the IED-EDS website for more information). If you study online, you cannot apply for a student visa. Nor can you apply for one if you are a “capacité” law student, even if you study on-site in Paris.
